Affiliation 

Utah Valley Aikido belongs to the California Aikido Association. The CAA is recognized by the Aikikai, the worldwide Aikido organization located in Tokyo, Japan. This association allows our dan rankings to be recognized.

The CAA is made up of 3 Divisions. Division 2, of which we are a member, is headed by Frank Doran, 7th dan shihan. Doran Sensei and other leading instructors from the CAA conduct frequent seminars in Utah.
